sweet memories

Hey everyone! I'm going to write about X-D. Yes, for some people it might be a tiny bit boring to hear about how solid we were, how much we had fun here but I don't really care. I'm in love with XD and I just can't help but to talk about how great it is over and over again.

So when I first entered XD, nothing special there so I didn't "fell in love at first sight" with it. In fact I felt a bit lonely since I don't really know everyone. But then the students get reshuffled and Danty asked me to be her chair-mate. And I said yes. At first she was a bit quiet but then I found out she's crazy about Hannah Montana (you know, that sitcom about a girl who was secretly a hugely successful pop star and wore weird blond wig every time she performed). And so we kinda clicked, with very few things in common; she's a happy-go-lucky type of kid, while many people said I'm more of a cynical-joking kind of person, even sarcastic sometimes. But later that year her cheerfulness was so contagious I found myself smiling widely like her whenever I feel happy. But that's another story.

A few days after the student orientation period, the school was on fire. It was shown in the news and the school was off for a few days. The original class of X-D was burnt to ashes and we no longer had a class, so we were moved to the classroom X-C, while the students of X-C studied in another unoccupied classroom. From then on, the students kind of bonded with each other. So the semester went by with nothing really special happened.



The second semester, we had a new class. It was built above the ruins of our burnt class. Many things happen there that brought us even closer. Some people fell in love, others gets brokenhearted; newcomer named Suci came in the middle of the semester; girls curious about some rumors heard about one particular girl and several boys (you know what I mean, XD's gossipgirls LOL); kids got teased; lots and lots of laughter and smiles, of course. Some kids actually revealed their true identity in this semester: Acha, Nadia. Those two were quieter in the early semester but they turned out to be class clowns, just like Fred and George Weasley. And then there's Dary and Dini, obsessed with Sharpay and Ryan Evans, dancing and singing together on a daily basis. And who can ever forget Dini's obsession to become the next Victoria's Secret Angel, Adriana Lima?

Today is the third day of the final exam. Which only remind me about the end of XD. But no matter what happen in the future, I won't think about it at this moment. It will happen sooner or later, why think about it when it will only upset me? It's said that there's nothing eternal in life than change itself, and it's true. Yet it's hard not to wish for things to stay the way they are, but we've got to move on with our lives and prepare ourselves for the real life, in our own ways.
But until that day come, I have XD with me, and when I grow up and we live our own separate lives, I do believe that we'll remember XD as one of the best things that ever happened in our lives.

Hola guys! I will introduce my friends in XD. The total amount in XD is 37. I will start from absent number one.

1. Adhis, He is crazy about action figure. He is smart and he can play bass.

2. Adrian, no one can understand him hahahah. In semester 2 he suddenly change more clever

3. Aghnia/caca, She is smart however it's hard to talk with her. She can draw. She has brother and his name is Awang!!!! Her father is Mr Angkasa. Hahaha

4. Ravi, he likes to tease other students. But he is a nice person and he is creative too. He has pale skin hahha. He likes to joke with danty, sometimes he is pretend mad to Danty. And he has a partner in crime! His name is Fiqih

5. Acha, wowww  she is incredible! nobody can be like her. She is too funny. If I look her face I can't stop laugh ! Her extracurricular is journalistic. She lives in Bekasi

6. Chrisitan, he is quiet but he is smart. If somebody make him mad he isn't mad at her/him back. He is nice person but he is snob. And he has a secret admire. Mmmmm I think that is not secret anymore, because everybody in class know who admire him hahhaha.

7. Daniel, he can play percussion. He was in Gong Show once. Everybody tease him aout his height. But I think he is okay with that .

8. Dary, he is very cute nobody can be like him. He loves Ryan Evans from High School Musical. He loves to act. At home his nickname is Ary. His chair mate is Abi.

9. Danty, She is a ballerina. She is soooo cheerful and girly. She loves Hannah Montana and anything pink!!!! Her birthday in February. She likes photography. She is creative.

10. It's me! my name is Dwi Fathia Rachmawati and in the future I wanna be a Diplomat so wish me luck :)

11. Tya, she is my class mate in kindergarden. She is so sporty and she is clever too. She has a great attitude. She lives in Kelapa Gading woow near me! If I want to study for an exam I come to her house 

12.Faya, she's pretty and photogenic too. She can saman dance. She sells deposit voucher for handphone

13. Fiqih he is funny and crazy. Words can not describe him ohh and he is a partner in crime of Ravi

14. Aga, People tease him for his face. And I don't now why

15. Gita She wear headscraf. Boys jokingly think that she is bald! ahahahah She is smart and noce too

16. Icha She is adorable and she plays percussion

17. Lathiifa! Another girl who wear headscraf. She is nice and sexy shahahah. She has a boyfriend that who looks like Jaco from Twilight

18. Dini, she is so sexy. Her obsession is to be Victoria's Secret Angel as the next Adriana Lima! Her slogan is "What is sexy? when your lips says something sweet then it's sexy!...(I forgot what it's next)"

19. Ojan I don't know him very well. In class he is called chinese man 

20. Monica, the smartest girl in class. Everybody especially teacher love her! now, I really like to be thought by her

21. Abi, Dary's frriends. Everywhere Dary goes his follow

22. Ikhwan, I can't describe him. But all I know is he is the vice president of XD

23. Echa, mm I don't know about him

24. Ogi, he is creative

25, Nadia, she is crazy. I think her obsession is being artist. She can act, sing and dance too! She is right to be Bollywood Artist not Hollywood hahahha

26, Pd she is smart but noisy 

27. Purwanto his name is so Javanese hhhaha

28. Nani, She is smart she likes anything about Korea

29. Gokonk. He is smart. And he likes to tease everybody. He lives in Kelapa Gading!!

30. Darma, mmm I don't know about him

31. Rara, she likes Naruto. Her uniform is so Islamic hahha

32. Dharta, His voice is so Javanese. He has tired face hhaha

33. Silfara, she is good in basket ball

34. Tasya, she likes pink. Most of her things are pink! She is smart too

35. Tena, she is beautiful and she is nice too. She has problem with he toe

36. Koni, She is so quiet but she is smart

37. Habibie, he is active in his extracurricular

I want to share about my unusual (isn't it?) hobby.
well, ballet is part of my life. I learned ballet since july 2001 (fyi: without any break!) wow, that's a pretty long journey, right?
everytime I hear that magical ballet syllabus music, I feel it inside my blood... this is my world...
everytime I feel so bored with school, with homeworks.... my ballet class is the only place for me to escape.
and sometimes, as if there's a bad day, ballet will perfectly heal me.
my ballet school is just like the second school for me, I've a super fun friends like my friends at school, I've responsibilities, same as school. I've to work hard for exam.
then well, this is ME now.
ballet has created me as a dancer. a quite good one, hopefully! I have to take 4 ballet classes every week. it called higher grade class and major class. and now, in higher grade class, my level is grade 6. in the major class, my level is intermediate.
and both of those class has a different rules, a huge different, I guess. for example
grade 6 class: the uniforms are tights, purple leotard, purple skirt, ballet shoes, character shoes and skirt for character dance (it's some kind of tap dance in the end of the class). in this class I learned about performance, like the way you express your dance to the audiences, the way you feel it. in grade 6, the main subject called "romantic style". and yes, it's true. the dances has a lot of romantic equipments, such as "romantic look" or smile. oh yes, how I looooooooove this class! grade 6 always been interesting for me :-) the music is absolutely relaxing.
intermediate class: the uniforms are tight, black leotard, ballet shoes and pointe shoes. pointe shoes is the one could make your feet rises in full position, like in those ballet movies, I supposed. in this class I learned about dance technique. this class will teach you how to do ballet steps correctly (but honestly, I prefer grade 6 than intermediate, ha ha)
jazz class: the uniforms are t-shirt, legging, and jazz shoes. this is a modern dance class. every dancer in my ballet class have to take this course too. this class is really, really, really different from the others. jazz means modern dance with modern music (without any classical movements / musics), and it's easier than ballet. why? because jazz seems like the extra class, we don't have to do the steps really correctly, i mean, such as turn out feet or pull up body. it's just having-fun class.
those things are just a LITTLE thing about ballet. ballet is so much more, more, mooooooooooore than just like on the movies or books. ballet is same as school, we have a concequences, responsible, and magical (+ secret) steps to make audiences turn like, 'whoaaaa....' :p

LABS INTERVAL

The Japanese Traditional Attire Models

Labs Interval International Festival) is a festival held every year by Labschool Jakarta. This year it was held at 30th January till 1st February. It had been held annually for several years now. It's a festival celebrating the diversity of international culture. The event took three days. The main events of Labs Interval are international festival, including culture exhibition from countries such as Japan etc., and debate, speech and essay competition.

The first day of the event (January 30th 2009) is the festival itself. There are a lot of performances such as Japanese's traditional outfit fashion show and sing-and-dance performance, traditional France teathrical performance, and Labschool itself had a performance of a traditional song from Batak "Dago Inang Sarge" by the school choir. It was also the day for re-registration for the debate, speech and essay competition.

The second day (January 31st 2009) was the preliminary round for the debate competition, also the preliminary and final round of essay and speech competition.

The third day (February 1st 2009) was the final round of debate competition. A lot of people came to watch, and the debate was very close. At the end of the day the winners of all the competition were announced. 

SIXTEEN

Hello Everybody, this is my first post of this project-homework blog.

It's been 2 days since my 16 birthday. Seems like I'm still 15 yesterday, but now I'm getting old, and it will be the same every single year. Maybe i felt a little tiny bit of sadness for getting old. But in the other side, i cannot wait what will be next in my life. I hope it'll be fantastic, mmm but I'm sure there will be ups and downs in our lives, rite? yes, a bad moment in your life its a great stepping stone to be better. OK OK BACK TO THE BIRTHDAY.

So, it was on Sunday morning, i woke up and checking my phone as usual. Surprisingly, there was 5 message in my inbox. I Swear, i never got that much message in the morning. I'm just so thrilled by the senders. And after that, lots of message congratulate me, came. (Thank you very much guys, for spending a few seconds to text me "happy birthday"). Then i prepared to go to my boyfriend's house. YES, for a routine Sunday course, with my few friends. I felt normal, happy, but not clamorous. As i stepped into his house, i met Mr. Hari and Adhis, also Retsa. But i can't find Adam, he's phone is busy to called too. So i just wait. After a moment he got out and we go upstairs to began our course.

BUT SUDDENLY, Adam told me my mom came. I speak to myself "WHAT IS MY MOM DOING? I DIDN'T LEFT ANY GOODS IN THE CAR?" As i lead myself to downstairs, at the end.. SURPRISE! SURPRISE! i saw my girl friends, holding a chocolate cake with 16 candles flamed up.

What a really shocking event. I felt ashamed, I'm too easy to fool with! (that's the worst part i usually regret). After took lots of pictures, cut and ate the cake all together, its time for the presents! I actually didn't expect they will gave me presents. I got 4, and they are great! as the girls left, i continue my study with the boys.

I played in adam's house until noon, it was great, cause our 2 other friends came, Ken and Agil! Situations is getting really crazy after they came ( before they came, it was the same, joking all the time is in our daily agenda). The boys were try to learn some skate tricks. Trust me, it's hard. Also watching a Chinese kungfu movie, it was quite funny actually, cause we're making jokes of it (even the movie is kind of serious). So when i got home, i celebrate my birthday, with a nice family dinner.

Hey, there's lots of people will having their birthday this month, its February of course. Just wait and see!

working in group

we are working in group now in nani's apartment, this is so fun but we are tired about this group thing. why? because sometimes it is SO HARD to manage our time in spite of our busy routinity everyday. imagine if we have to take course outside school but we still have to do our group project.
anyway, we are always tried to be responsible :--)
